After walking off his high school field for the last time, Jadon Leib, a 2025 FHS graduate, is set to return to a different field at Judson University.
Leib is attending Judson University, an NAI school, for punting and track while studying business management.
Judson University has had a program for five years and has progressed yearly.
“They’ve always been looked at as a mediocre school in the conference, but they keep getting better and better,” Jadon Leib shared.
As an underclassman, Leib found an unexpected interest in punting.
“I was punting around at practice, and I kept on getting big numbers,” Leib said.
He was inspired to continue his punting career after winning his first title.
“After I won my first all-conference title, I realised I was good at punting and just wanted to chase after it,” Leib added.
Leib is expected to report to Judson on the first Saturday of August for his first practice.
While attending college, Leib plans to stay in a dorm and focus on his academics.
“Academics come first, so I will have to work a lot harder in college,” Leib said.
If Leib has a good season, he is hoping to transfer to a D1 school.
“My coach thinks I can, so I am going to try,” Leib shared.
Although his season hasn’t begun yet, he has strong ambitions for the future.
“I want to average 40 yards a punt and hopefully make NAI All-American,’ Jadon said.
With hard work and dedication, Leib has a bright future ahead of him.
