When you walk into the office at Flora High School chances are you will speak to a bubbly secretary with a smile constantly present on her face.
Stacy Smith is a former FHS graduate and grew up in Clay County. Smith attended Xenia grade school until starting high school in Flora. While attending FHS she enjoyed her Home Economics class and two of her favorite teachers were Mrs. Stine and Mrs. Martin. Looking back on her high school years, Smith’s favorite memory was her Senior Prom.
After high school, Smith went on to say, “I married the love of my life and have two boys.” in addition to spending time with her family, she enjoys being outdoors, gardening, planting flowers, and mowing.
Mrs. Smith considers herself to be quite “dorky” at times and her favorite candy is Skittles. Also, many faculty and students believe she is a pleasure to be around. Senior Lauren Edwards says, “when I go into the office, talking to Mrs. Smith makes my day!”
