On her eleventh year sponsoring Spanish club, Ms.Blackford threw her first pizza party along with a few games Wednesday night for the members. In the past, Spanish club would go on a trip to watch Spanish dancers and afterwards to go the mall, but this year they will not be taking that trip. Instead, Ms.Blackford has a few different things planned that are just as fun.
At Wednesday’s meeting they participated in musical chairs with Latin music, a scavenger hunt, and a Zumba contest. Each game had a first place prize and only the scavenger hunt had a second place; each prize consisted of a variety of candy.
