FHS has welcomed a new family and consumer science student-teacher. Mrs. Bethany Kuhlig has been student teaching for Mrs. Hamilton in the home-ec classes since the beginning of second semester.
Mrs. Kuhlig has a passion for learning and loves building relationships with the students to help them reach their highest potential. She said “I considered social work but teaching is more fulfilling.”
It is ideal for her to teach at the high school because she lives in town.
When asked how she feels about the school and students her reply is “I LOVE FHS!! The school is amazing, you are all lucky students.”
She is currently in charge of Child Care, Advanced Foods, Foods Two, and Child Development.
Mrs. Kuhlig is a firm believer that learning should be fun and is always looking for guest speakers and special projects.
