The Flora High School drama class, taught by Ethan Steber, presented the play Will You Be My Nemesis on November 16 and 17.
The play is about the main superhero, Captain Battle, and the main supervillain, Dr. Nightmare, on a quest to find their perfect nemesis.
From being on stage to loving the play itself, the students loved producing the show. Student and the main hero, Jorja Pride, says, “I loved being on stage and acting.”
Although the class was pleased with their performance, they discussed improving their publicity strategies for future projects.
The cast’s reviews were mixed. While some expected they would have done worse, others lived up to their expectations.
Drama class, separate from drama club, teaches students the different responsibilities that go into producing a play.
