The Flora Academic Foundation has scheduled its annual Awards Banquet on Saturday, April 26 at 6:30 P.M. in the Commons area at Flora High School. The banquet is the opportunity to recognize the students who have excelled in the academic area throughout the year. All students freshmen through seniors who have a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or above will be honored.
Every student who is to be honored is entitled to receive three tickets for the banquet, one for the student and two tickets for the parents. If more tickets are needed, they can be purchased at the price of $5.00 for each additional ticket. In order for the Foundation to be prepared to serve everyone that attends, reservations need to be made. Reservations can be made by calling the high school office at 662-8316. The deadline to set the reservations is April 17, so the caterers may have an accurate count for the event. Tickets will be available in the high school office at the time the reservations are made.
According to the Academic Foundation Board, they are always honored to recognize the students who have excelled in our schools. Knowing that the parents are a huge part of the students life and school success, they look forward to recognizing the honor students and their parents on April 26.
