Our newest foreign exchange student, Xinyi (Millie) Zhang, is from Guangzhou which is a bigger city in China. The population of her home city is 11 million people. Zhang is a senior at Flora High School.
Zhang lives with Amy Hensley. Zhang has been here since August 3, 2013. Her favorite hobby here is swimming. One of her best memories in America so far is the sleepover that she had at the beginning of her stay here.
In China, Zhang lives with her father, who is in the military, and her mother, who is a homemaker. Because of China’s one-child policy, Zhang is an only child.

Zhang is looking forward to typical American activities such as attending Homecoming. She also enjoys American fast food.
