Out of the woods emerge new drama club officers with loads of activities for fall semester. Last year, shortly after the production of Into the Woods, members elected Briano Gutierrez as President, Danielle Stewart as Vice President, and Miles Kapper as Secretary, and Emma Bute as Treasurer.
The leaders have planned usual drama club affairs including a dress up booth at Appleknocker, The Trick or Treat so Kids Can Eat canned food collection during Halloween, and Christmas Caroling at the nursing home.
Aside from the typical community services, drama club is also painting the floor in the auditorium. Throughout the month of September, members will be painting the backstage black.
The club is also looking forward to some improv nights, a movie night, and other fun activities.
The musical selection will be held in November and auditions are expected for December. Even if you aren’t a member of drama club, you can still try out for the musical or help backstage.
