Jaryn Allen and Nick Schafer advanced to the 3-point shootout this year, being the only two seniors to continue.
This was the second year Nick Schafer has advanced.
Schafer stated, “In my first experience my sophomore year, I was fortunate enough to advance to state. This year, unfortunately, I only made 8 at sectionals. The shooters that advanced made 9 or more.”

Allen said her experience at the shoot-out was great, making 8 shots each round.
Allen and Schafer both agreed it was an amazing opportunity and they were very excited to be able to experience it. For sectionals, the top four shooters advance.
