Celebrating Cancer Awareness Month, the Flora Wolfgals faced Oblong for their annual Pink Out game. This event was hosted on Oct. 17 at Conley Gym. To raise funds, they auctioned off desserts that the team made. They raised money through concession stand money and ticket sales then donated a total of $2,000 to Clay County Cancer Crusaders and Clay County Cancer Support Group.
These organizations buy gas cards and meal cards for families of cancer patients.
The varsity team lost and the junior varsity won.
