Although the The Junior Varsity and Fresh-Soph teams are often overlooked, this year’s underclassmen Wolves football teams are experiencing success on the field.
After nearly defeating East Richland in the varsity game on Friday, the Fresh-Soph Wolves came back to beat the Tigers on Monday, Sept. 29 at ERHS. In another close game, the Wolves scored 26 to East Richland’s 20.
This was the Wolves’ second win, as the freshman defeated Christopher-Zeigler-Royalton, 36 to 22.
In a close game against Lawrenceville on Sept. 22, Though the Wolves lost, Their recovery was impressive. At the end of the game Wolves lossed 44 to Lawrenceville who won with score of 60.
The next Wolves games are Monday Oct. 6, here at 6:15pm; Thursday Oct. 9 against Newton High School Freshman, there at 6:15pm. against Paris High School Monday Oct. 13 at 6:15pm; on Monday Oct. 20 the Wolves will travel to Edwards County High School with the game starting at 6:15 pm.
