After a rough start to the football season, the Wolves are getting into their groove. The slow start was not for lack of effort. The first four teams to face the Wolves have proved to be some of the best in the conference, each having shut out their first opponents of the season.
The first four opponents, Marshall, Robinson, Casey, and Lawrenceville, are already guaranteed to go to conference. With the transition from the very best to the average team, the Wolves were able to prove their skill last Friday against East Richland. They lost by only 8 points scoring a total of 34 points.
Sophomore Chris Scott was named MVP at the Shriners’ game.
As the season progresses, the team can only do better. The most difficult four are out of the way and the Wolves can look forward knowing their future is bright as they head into the Homecoming game against Paris.
