Hoping to add to their wins, Flora Wolves baseball team will play against the Centralia Orphans on April 1, 2015.The Wolves won their first game against Lawrenceville to start off the season.
Though they lost their second game against Carlyle, the boys still hope to win most of their games. Being led by Bryce Pearce, who has the most hits in Flora baseball history, the team has high hopes for the season.
According to senior player Luke Durre, “We hope to win regionals this year then advance to sectionals.”
Last year, the Wolves lost their first game in their Regional against Shelbyville, ending their season.
Both games last week were canceled due to weather conditions, leaving their record currently at 3-2.
