FFA students attend Farm Progress Show

By Keah Tanner

Fourteen Flora FFA members visited the Farm Progress Show in Decatur, Ill.  There they toured the exhibits and learned about different agricultural products and new technology.  The exhibits included the seed corn companies, chemical companies, tractor companies and truck companies.

Seniors Ava Ludwig and Megan Guthrie visited the Pioneer Corn Company exhibit and learned the stages that corn has to go through to become Ethanol.  Ludwig said “As we walked around to different displays we learned about agriculture and tractors.”

As part of a group, Ludwig also helped push a Ford truck.
