Flora High School hosted an annual college fair on Monday, Oct. 17 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. in the big gym at the high school. They had booths set up for 25 colleges including 2-year colleges, 4-year colleges, and branches of the military.
The Guidance Department conducted a financial aid workshop from 6:00-6:30 p.m. for parents and students who needed help with the FAFSA financial aid form. A scholarship for $500 was given to one senior, Ryder Collins. $50 was given to one junior, Kevin Garrett. Both had to be present at 8:00 p.m., the time of the drawing.
