Musical season is underway at Flora High School. This year’s group will be preforming the American classic Wizard of Oz.

The lead roles include Dorothy played by Breann Beckham, Glinda/Aunt Em portrayed by Tyra Leonard, Uncle Henry played by Brandon Burkett, the Lion portrayed by Justin Smith, the Wicked Witch played by Makayla Schroer, Professor Marvel/Wizard portrayed by Kevin Garrett, Mayor played by Fawn Sagen, Coroner portrayed by Kolbi Kittle, Oz Guard and Winkie General played Allison Perry.

Ensemble parts are still available until the end of January. These parts have no solos and include characters such as munchkins and Oz citizens. Any students who are interested in these roles should contact Mrs. Igert or Mrs. Hudson at the junior high. Cast and crew are expected to be at all scheduled rehearsals for their role. If conflicts arise, let a director know ASAP.
