Mark your calendars for October 12, when Flora High School hosts its highly anticipated Homecoming Dance from 7:00 to 10:00 PM, with the coronation kicking off at 7:00.
Tickets will be available for purchase during lunch from October 7 to 9. Prices are $10 for students and $20 for couples. If you have out-of-town guests, be sure to pick up the necessary forms starting October 1st.
This year’s dress-up days promise to be a blast with exciting themes!
- Monday: Embrace your favorite stories on Movie Character Day, where you can dress up as any character of your choice
- Tuesday: Travel back in time by dressing as a decade of your choice
- Wednesday: Compete in the Color Wars to earn class points
Despite the week being shortened due to parent-teacher conferences, the Homecoming Parade is still on schedule for October 9, and all are welcome to attend. Freshmen will take us back to the ‘80s, sophomores will dive into the ‘90s, juniors will celebrate freedom in 1776, and seniors will journey to the medieval era.
The parade will kick off at 7:30 PM at the Depot and will travel east along South Mill Street. At 8:00 PM, the class competitions will commence at Dancy Field, where the public can watch from the bleachers. After the competitions, students can join in the bonfire celebration.
The Flora Wolves will face the Hamilton County Foxes on October 11 at 7 PM.
