In March, freshman Wolfgal track athletes Brittyn Lusk and Adara Smith attended the EIU Central Illinois High School Invitational.
Due to the distance, entry costs, and level of competition at this meet, Flora usually doesn’t allow its athletes to attend. This year, however, two freshman athletes got the opportunity to show up and show out.
Smith states she and teammate Lusk attended the meet because they wanted to see if they could compete with the high levels of competition this meet encompassed.
Lusk competed in high jump, earning first place and jumping 5’3”, with teammate Smith competing in long jump, earning second place, jumping 16’¼”.
