Hayden Young proudly achieved a goal she has been working hard to reach throughout her high school career. She nearly hit 750 hours of work, earned well over $1500 while working at the Flora Dairy Queen, and has completed 50 hours of community service that was not related to FFA. These achievements allowed her to attain her FFA State Degree.
There are many advantages to achieving an FFA State Degree. One main advantage isthe opportunities it can give a person in their FFA career. You get to walk across the stage in front of thousands of people on stage to accept the degree. The degree is an excellent addition to college applications. This can help college students get accepted into the colleges they are striving to attend.
Hayden plans to attend Wabash Valley College for two years to get her Agricultural production and business degree then transfer to U of I to get her agri-accounting degree.
