Agriculture students went to Mt. Vernon for the Envirothon competition on March 10th.
Mrs. Troyer took 10 students, team one including Hayden Young, Benny Allen, Ayden Persinger, Madi Henderson, and Caleb Hostettler. They earned 1st place in the surprise category which was Nonpoint Source Pollution & Mitigation.
The varsity team got first place in the surprise category. They had to use their background knowledge since there was no way of knowing what they were going to ask.
Team two included Silas Allen, Mollie Frost, Giuliana Upton, Kielyn Massie, and Jackson Harper.
