Club members participate in Science Day at VU

By Marisa Morton

Shocking fish, dissecting a pig, making slime: all of these were among the scientific hands-on activities FHS Science Club students participated in when they visited Vincennes University Friday, Oct. 18.

To go on the trip students  have to be in Science club and Mrs. Dehart has to give you a permission slip.   All of the science club joined Addie Dehart on a trip to Vincennes University.
They all got to take a tour of the University and they also got to experience the lunch hour at the campus cafeteria.

The activities Science Club  could participate in this day were Fish populations, Calorimetry of snack foods, Designing Urban agriculture, dissections in Anatomy, Engineering Design, a day with a Vet, projectile motions, how to silver a bottle, and a day with a MD. In these activities they got to see what these teachers and doctors do on a daily basis.
